I'm very passionate about the modalities of homeopathic medicine and bodywork. I'm particulary fascinated by the body's ability for self-healing when coaxed along by various non-invasive methods. As medicinal practices move towards a more centralized focus between Western and Eastern ideologies I feel like the balance will produce amazing breakthroughs, and perhaps the healing that can occur will be more than just a cellular level. Perhaps even communally.

My consistent lifelong hobby has been music. I play guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums, and cow bell. I've played almost every genre I can think of, but some of my favorites are Heavy Alt-Rock, Funk, Reggae, and Latin.

I enjoy open conversation about politics, music, travel, cooking, and spirtuality despite the taboos that goes along with such topics. I'm very laid back and non-judgemental. I just like to hear how people come to the conclusions that they do. Though some friendly debate is never a bad thing.

I do genuinely care about people, but one thing I've learned is that the only person in this world you can control, and count on, is yourself. I don't mean to sound cold or closed off, but I'm usually shy at first (at least in person) until I get to know what can and canâ??t be talked about. After you get around my walls I'm a pretty open book. Any thing and everything is OK to talk about, as long as you don't mind answering questions about yourself as openly as I do.

Let's see... I've recently (as of May 2006) finished attending college full time, majoring Computer Science. I currently work as a software developer for a Minnesota-based company.

I'm a bit of a geek/nerd. I enjoy computer programming, anime, Magic the Gathering, various role playing games (RPGs, and video games. Though these days I don't tend to do the anime or video game things nearly as much as I used to. I don't actually live in St. Cloud, but I don't really like giving my location out to random people over the Internet (I do live in greater Minnesota, however). I'm not a fan of pets. I was raised Catholic, but right now I'm fairly agnostic when it comes to religion. I tend to be very oblivious to a lot of stuff. Okay, that's an understatement, as I have in the past failed to recognize a person who I'd been in the presence of on a weekly basis for months. I kid you not.

I don't know how much merit the system actually has, but on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator I fall squarely in the camp of INTP. It's scary how well it describes my quirks.

I've been described as curious by someone whose opinion I think is reasonable, and I think that's a fair assessment. I often like to find out how things work. I can also spend hours on end browsing through random articles on wikipedia, learning random stuff that seems interesting.

Well, I work full time in a career that I enjoy, and I also go to school full time in Saint Cloud for a Bachelor's degree in Business. I put off school for some time to get a strong footing in my career, but now that I settled I feel it is time for me to get that degree I have wanted.

I do not really enjoy the party scene, though I enjoy to go out every so often and drink a bit if the mood strikes. I think most of that type of behavior is behind me, but I am okay with it. Sometimes I go out to the bars, and I can hold my own when drinking, but it is not something I do very often.

I golf and bowl, which makes me sound like I am forty years old or something, but I enjoy partaking in all sorts of sports as well. I like the outdoors, but I spend all of my work day out doors so I usually enjoy spending some quality time indoors when I get the chance as well.

I am pretty liberal, but not aggressively so. If you are aggressively conservative, that is about the only problem I have. I have some conservative elements to me as well, as I think most people do, but I am not entirely black and white with everything. I like to evolve and adapt as I experience things.

I am not religious. I have nothing against organized religion unless they are trying to jam it down my throat. I feel the same about hardcore atheists in that scenario. I am private about my beliefs and I am VERY open to others having their own private beliefs. I respect them as long as they do not judge me on it.

So what else besides a hidden and locked away love for history. OH YEAH! Poetry. I like to 'pretend' I'm doing something with poetry. I'm always blocked mentally, but I'll get inspired here and there. So I'll sit down and produce something shitty. I've only ever created maybe 4 good poems. The rest could disappear because they stare back me from my Microsoft Word document and tease, "Nya-nya nah boo-boo--you can't poetify us" Little bastards.

I like taking things apart to see how they tick. I like cooking, being outside: running, hiking, camping, canoeing, cycling, mountain biking (trying to get into it anyways). It's been a while since I've taking any biology or chemistry, but I'm pretty sure that caffeine is vital to keeping my head from caving in. I like reading and listening to music...and will read/listen it just about anything (except country and Jane Austin terrible singer). I love watching the Twins, Red Sox, or Cubs win. And of course I enjoy having the Yankees lose. Besides Baseball, the only sport I follow is cycling (Happy Tour de France Season!). Words can't express my despair that the Yankees won the World Series. This truly is a dark time for humanity.

My dislikes: I do not like liars, cheaters, people who think they are all that, no one is perfect or better than anyone else, I don't like people who judge, it just shows how low you really are. I don't like fake people, someone you're really not.

I love to travel! I have gone to Beijing, Shen Zhen, and Hong Kong and would love to go back. My current part-time job as a school bus driver allows me to explore MN. However traveling to Minneapolis/ St Paul tends to be a bear when driving a full size bus and visiting quaint coffee shops. I have started to notice anyone can see photos of places other people enjoy online, but photos tend to lack at least 2 of the senses.

I am proud of my Chinese heritage. The art and culture is fascinating. Seeing the intricate detail on the summer palace and seeing a Chinese Opera was some the best times ever. My home town is the huge city of Sioux Falls. Nothing is better than home in good ol South Dakota.
